The Ginger Woods Homeowners Association wants to communicate to the neighborhood that the City of Aurora is considering partnering with Hollywood Casino Aurora, to move the casino from it’s downtown location to a site on Farnsworth Avenue.
The proposed site is across from the Premium Outlet Mall on the properties that formally had hotels located on them.
There will be community informational meetings held over the coming months where residence will be allowed to provide their input.
Both Alderman Woerman and Llamas are very engaged in this development.
They are very cognizant of any concerns the Ginger Woods Subdivision may have and will be strong advocates for the neighborhood.
The proposed casino relocation will be presented to the Aurora City Council Finance Committee meeting this Thursday, October 13th at 3 PM at City Hall, 44 E. Downer.
At that meeting more details on the proposed project will be shared to the Alderman and the community.
